she is love

This one was from Grand Cayman, just over a month ago.

Off to Ottawa tonight.

I heard this song while I was at the mall a few days ago and it's been in my head since.

I've been beaten down,
I've been kicked around,
But she takes it all for me.
And I lost my faith,
In my darkest days,
But she makes me want to believe.

to new beginnings.

My sleep pattern is all out of whack so I figured that now is as good a time as any to start a new blog.

Anyway, summer is officially over. One of the highlights of the summer was fishing at Rice Lake, where I took this picture.

Song of the the day is Use Somebody by Kings of Leon which has actually been an anthem of some sort this past summer.

Off in the night,
while you live it up,
I'm off to sleep
Waging wars to shape the poet and the beat
I hope it's gonna make you notice

Someone like me.
